CT Group students’ encouraged voters to Cast “VOTE” by maintaining “PEACE”

Jalandhar 21 January (Gurkirat Singh)- To spread the message for voting on ethical grounds during the ensuing Assembly elections in Punjab that goes to polls on February 4, the students CT Group of Institutions appealed the voters to cast their vote on the priority by maintaining peace. They motivated the voters to vote without any fear or influence. Following the path of creating awareness and raise voice for the proper execution of ‘Right to Vote’, the students CT Group of Institutions appealed the voters to cast their vote on the priority. With the poll fever at its peak, voting-awareness teams too have been carrying out aggressive campaigns. The purpose, of course, is not to promote any candidate or a political party but to motivate the voters to become aware of their rights to exercise their authorization. Students formed sculpture of ‘PEACE’ to encourage the youngsters and to execute their ‘Right to Vote’. Students encouraged the voters with a pious objective to create awareness among them regarding the voting system, voter’s rights & duties. Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) said, “The idea was to reach to each individual and take his resolve on participation in the elections.” He said, “Observing the earlier contribution on the part of students, we are now hopeful that the students would play a pivotal role in convincing the voters to vote on ethical grounds without fear and by maintain peace while executing their Right to Vote.” With this aim, the students are also being made aware of the importance of voting rights so that they can enthuse their parents and family members to go for ethical voting during the Assembly elections. He joined, “I request everyone to inspire and encourage your friends and family members to participate in the poll process and vote for the best candidate who can meet the aspirants of the people and work in the interest of the nation.” S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) said, “There is a need to make our democracy more strong and strengthen. For this, we should utilize our right to vote which is the most important among all the other rights and duties.” He said, “Voting is only right by which we can get what we want and that too in a most peaceful manner. By voting, we could get a government of our choice and interest. So always vote and let our country grow.”
