Jalandhar 9 January (Bureau)- To observe National Voter Day on 25th January 2017, Election Registration Officer organized a Poster Making Competition at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. In this competition, students from various schools and colleges of Jalandhar enthusiastically participated. The motive of such competitions is to enlighten the youngsters about the use of their Voting Rights and to choose the best candidate. Principal Dr. Sucharita appreciated such efforts and said such competitions not only aware the students about their basic right of voting but also make them aware of their little contribution in the development of the nation because appropriate use of the voting right is the best contribution of a citizen. On this occasion, Mr. Surjit Lal, District Career Guidance Counselor / Assistant Nodal Officer, SVEEP, Mr. Amolak Singh Kalsi, Assistant Nodal Officer, SVEEP and Mr. Manjeet Maini, Coordinator, SVEEP were also presence.
