Jalandhar 24 February (Gurkirat Singh)- Charming faces, brightened turbans marked the celebration of World Turban Day in the premises of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. An innovative competition was conducted to select perfect and beautiful turban of the students. On this occasion, 40 students participated with full zeal exhibiting distinguished styles of turban. Ms. Lovpreet Kaur, Mr. Ramandeep Singh and Mr. Satinder Singh Judged the participants and Jaskaran Singh of BBA-IV semester grabbed first, Varinder Singh of BBA semester -IV stood second and Jaskirat Singh of B.Com-IV semester pocketed third position. Japsimran Kaur of B.Com-IV also got a special prize in this event. Principal, Dr. Sucharita heartily congratulated all the winners and said such functions are need of the hour to inculcate the traditional values of Punjab in youngsters.
