Jalandhar 25 February (Jaswinder Azad)- At Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar’s the students of B.Voc (Photography and Journalism) of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication participated in a 3-day Documentary Film Festival organized by NITTR Chandigarh in collaboration, an Interuniversity Centre of UGC on Electronic Media. The students were shown various documentaries on different aspects of development communication. CEC has been organizing this festival since 1997 to promote documentary films and to create awareness about various issues of Indian Culture and Society. The aim of the festival was to spread awareness about the role of Information and Communication Technology in higher education with the help of electronic media. The Principal of KMV Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the participants and lauded the efforts of the Head, Dept. of JMC Mr. Rubal Kanozia and the members of the Department for motivating and encouraging the students.
