Jalandhar 23 April (Jaswinder Azad)- Apeejay Stya Model United Nations opened the floodgates of discussion on various burning issues of the world on it’s second day. 500 student delegates from the nook and corners of the nation presented their views on the problems and their solutions. 10 venues of the college were transformed into committee rooms where the delegates put forth their observances. These committees include White House Situation Room, United Nations General Assembly, United Nations Security Council, United Nations Drug Control Programme, International Press, All India Political Parties Meet, United Nations Commissions on the status of Women, United Nations Human Rights Council and Punjab Vidhan Sabha. The college has been transformed with the political scenario of United Nations assembly throwing light upon blazing issues.
The second day of ASMUN 2017 proved to be fruitful for the delegates as it gave them the knowledge of all the aspects of the globe.
