Principal, Teaching and Non-Teaching staff members met Hon’ble President of India
Jalandhar 21 May (Jaswinder Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, the most prestigious college of North India, repeated its own created history by meeting Hon’ble His Excellency President of India Sh. Pranab Mukherjee under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. They spent some time with the President of India. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen felicitated the President with bouquet of flowers. She also presented a mural made by the Fine Arts Department of the college. Principal Dr. Sareen, teaching and non-teaching staff members had a group photograph with the Hon’ble President of India.
The staff members were welcomed in the Rashtrapati Bhawan as guests of the President. The staff members were also shown the newly built Museum at Rashtrapati Bhawan in which the belongings of former and present President of India are kept. HMV staff also had a cup of tea at Rashtrapati Bhawan. On this occasion, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that it is a moment of pride for HMV that Hon’ble President of India had given his consent to meet us. The staff members also felt honoured at visiting Rashtrapati Bhawan. On the official Facebook page and website of President of India, the group photograph was posted by the P.R. Department of President Office. The staff members also visited Akshardham Temple at New Delhi.
