Jalandhar 11 July (Gurkirat Singh)- By seeking the blessings of almighty with a blazing Hawan, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar marked the beginning of new session 2017-18. A huge crowd of new and existing students led by the Principal Dr. Sucharita prayed for an auspicious start of the forthcoming session with the chanting of vedic hymns and mantras to seek the showering of God’s blessings. Various devotional mantras were recited by Pandit Ji to invoke the blessing of heavenly gods for making students dedicated and hard working so that they can touch the pinnacles of glory in academics as well as co-curricular activities. Pandit Ji also shared his views that educating oneself with spiritualism paves the way to achieve their goals quite efficiently. On this occasion, Dr. Vivek Verma, Assistant Prof. in Music Vocal enthralled the audience by reciting his self composed hymn. Dr. Sucharita welcomed all the newcomers and wished them a fruitful session ahead. She further said that a session with holy prayer has always proved beneficial to the college as it also opens the horizons of success for everyone.
