Jalandhar 20 July (Gurkirat Singh)- National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) is an autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has asked it’s approved colleges like St. Soldier Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology to fill the vacant seats of BSc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration with direct admissions. Good news is for those Students who have not appeared in Joint Entrance Test 2017 conducted by NCHM&CT; they are also eligible to take admission in BSc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration in St. Soldier Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology. Earlier admissions were open to only those students who appeared in JET and through its counseling. Now students have a benefit to join through direct admission the industry reputed Hotel Management course which leads to assured jobs in the big properties. Speaking at the occasion Chairman Anil Chopra said “There is a good scope in the Hospitality sector. There would be abundance of job openings after completing the NCHM approved BSc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration program. Further he mentioned that last date of admission is 31st July, 2017. This degree program is of three years after 10+2 in any stream.”
