Jalandhar 11 July (Gurkirat Singh)- The academic session 2017-18 opened today in Lyallpur Khalsa College. The occasion was marked by recitation of the Sehaj Path of Sri Sukhmani Sahib followed by Kirtan in the College Gurudwara. The students, staff and President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur, sought blessings from the almighty. Addressing the present, the Principal of the college, Dr. G.S. Samra shared the information that Lyallpur Khalsa College had once again won Teja Singh Samundari Overall Sports Trophy of Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar . He also informed that the college had started new courses in BA in Journalism and Mass Communication and Diploma in Computer Animation. He attributed the success of the institution to the combined efforts of the students, staff administration and management. The occasion was marked by the presence of S. Jaspal Singh Waraich Joint Secretary, S. Swaran Singh Cheema and S. Ajay Pal Singh Dhillon members of the governing council, along with many dignitaries from the region.
