Jalandhar 8 July (Gurkirat Singh)- Innocent Hearts School organised a three day practice session for the probable players. An opportunity for the students to raise self esteem, boost confidence and also to make friends. The session began with the unfurling school sports flag by Sh. Vijay Kumar–DSO, Jalandhar. The event stretches from July 8 to 10.The students’ registration started at 8am on the first day of the camp at loharan Campus. The students took a pledge during the inaugural assembly and Sh. Vijay Kumar released the balloons to mark the beginning of the event. Having taken breakfast the students proceeded to the ground for activities with their coaches where they strengthened the fundamental principles of the game. The children then had a dip in the pool. In the evening, the gathering danced to the beats of music. A cricket match was also organised for the students. All the arrangements were made as per the season. Air-Conditioned rooms were arranged for the stay of the candidates. Dr. Chander also visited the campus to keep a check on the health of the students. Keeping in mind the season and the diet requirement of sports men–meals, fruit and milk were provided to the students.
