884 students gathered in Mega Job Fest organised at CT Group of Institutions

  • Under the initiative of Punjab Government’s ‘Ghar Ghar Naukri’ Scheme for Polytechnic Students
  • The fest is scheduled till August 31, companies will participate for 11 days
Jalandhar 22 August (Gurkirat Singh)- 11-Day Mega Job Fest started at CT Group of Institutions on Monday with an initiative to provide best of the job opportunities to the Polytechnic Students. The job fest was organised by Punjab Government under their Ghar Ghar Naukri Scheme which was started on Monday till second day more than 884 students gathered while 16 companies participated. The Job Fest was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Sh. Varinder Sharma and S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group) in the presence of management members, faculty, staff and students. After which, companies started their selection process that included Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Deputy Commissioner Sh. Varinder Sharma said that the Job Fest has been organised under the guidance of Punjab Government for which companies are coming up to hire Polytechnic Students at different positions in their reputed and esteemed organisations. He guided the students to well prepare them for the final interview to get them recruited in these well established companies. S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group) said that Punjab Government has been doing a commendable job by organizing such valuable job fairs for providing better opportunities to the students and to curb the problem of unemployment. He said that CT Group also works on the path to provide best of the career opportunities to the youngsters for those job fests has been organized in the different parts of the country including Punjab, Himachal, Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir. He wished the students of their future. Mrs. Sanjeeda Beri (Deputy Director, District Bureau of Employment Generation and Training, Jalandhar) and Mr. Abhishek Soni (Deputy Director of Centre of Career Planning and Counseling at CT Group) were present at the event among other dignitaries.
