Jalandhar 30 August (Jaswinder Azad)- St. Soldier Law College known for training its students for PCS (Judicial) and Company Jobs, has initiated an intensive internship programme for the final year students. This year 64 students underwent their one-month training with senior Advocates of Supreme Court and High Court as also in reputed law firms of the country Inaddition, the College student Ms. Manjot Kaur completed her internship (with stipend) in the National Human Rights Commission. She is presently an intern (with stipend) in the National Judicial Academy Bhopal, the premier institution of law for training of Judges. Another candidate of the College, Ms. Amanpreet Kaur has been selected for internship in the Legislative Department of Govt of India under the Ministry of Law and Justice.
The group Chairman Sh. Anil Chopra, Vice Chairperson Mrs. Sangeeta Chopra and Pro-Chairman Mr. Prince Chopra appreciated the initiative of Law College and congratulated the students. The College Director, S.C. Sharma disclosed that the College, with support of the management, is exploring for international tie-ups and internship programmes.
