Ms. Sonia and Mr. Puneet from B.Tech. (CSE) were declared as winner of Fashion Show in the event held at CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan Campus
Jalandhar 26 August (Jaswinder Azad)- Giving students a platform to exhibit their talent, CT Group of Institutions organized Annual Event “TALENTUM FERO” at its Maqsudan Campus. More than 80 students enthusiastically participated in the event. After the auditions, 30 participants were shortlisted for the final competition. The students performed singing, dancing turban tying and Fashion Show etc. Prominent personalities from various fields judged the events. The winners of the events were honoured by CT Group. Ms. Sonia and Mr. Puneet from B.Tech. (CSE) were declared as winner of Fashion Show. Trophies of Singing Competition went to Mr. Sansar and Vishavjeet Sharma of MBA while Sagar and Sonia of B.Tech got first and second prize in dancing respectively.
The event was organized by the Department of CSE & ECE, CT Institute of Technology & Research, CT Maqsudan Campus. Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami (Campus Director, CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan) presided over the event and emphasizing on the overall development of the students. She highlighted that the college always seeks to strike a balance between academic and co-curricular activities for the students and also advised the students to lay stress on dedication and discipline and polish their talent.
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group) and Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group) graced the occasion with their presence. S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group) said that such events boost the confidence of the students and encourage them to come forward. The guidance of the teachers further sharpens their inborn talents. These programmes are organized by the College from time to time in order to unravel the creative talent of the young students.
