Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar celebrated Teacher’s Day

Jalandhar 6 September (Jaswinder Azad)- To pay a tribute to the guiding spirits of the nation and to recall the role of a teacher in nation building, Student Welfare Association of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar celebrated Teacher’s Day. Teachers refreshed themselves by participating in activities. On this occasion, students of the College presented the bonding of teachers and students through a skit. Mr. Sandeep Singh from the department of Punjabi recited a poem highlighting the obstacles faced by teachers.
Red Arts Punjab Theatre Group from Punjabi University, Patiala enacted a play depicting the importance of teacher in shaping the life of youngsters.  The eminent artists Deepak, Atul, Rajvir and Tarlochan touched the social issues like corruption of system, life of unemployed youngsters and desire to go abroad which are taking away the potential of youngsters.  They brought into light that the respect for teacher is quite essential even in this era because only a teacher can play a vital role in paving the road to success for its students.
Principal Dr. Sucharita congratulated the faculty on the occasion of Teachers’ Day and emphasized that the true guidance of teachers always works as beacon of inspiration in the dark times and also helps in creating a bright future for the students.
