- Inder and Rajesh chosen Ms. And Mr. Fresher
Jalandhar 27 September (Gurkirat Singh)- New students were given a warm welcome in Swagatam-2017organised by the senior students in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, GNDU Regional Campus here. The program had a lot of elements of fun and masti. Earlier, Prof. Kamlesh Singh Duggal, addressed the students and hoped for a fruitful year ahead. Dr. Namarta Joshi, Head of the Department talked of the spirit of togetherness and teamwork which can take any organization ahead. Dr, Charan Kamal Walia also exhorted the students to work hard and assured them of all support from the seniors and faculty. There were dance performances by Neha, Harveen, Avneet Gill and Luveena. Sachinsang medley of songs with his guitar. Junior students displayed their talent. There were rounds of modeling by the new students and Inderpreet and Rajesh were chosen as Ms. and Mr. Fresher, Ishita and Mohit were chosen as Ms. and Mr. Hot Shot whereas Pooja and Mukeshwere given the titles of Ms. And Mr. TaurShaurrespectively.Ms. Muskan and Ms. Sukriti were the judges for the Fresher’s contest.
