Jalandhar 26 October (Gurkirat Singh)- English Inter- House Debate Competition was conducted by Literary Forum Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town and Loharan. The students of class X took part in the competition. This was an Inter- House English Debate Competition on “Bullet Train”. The representatives of various houses spoke vehemently on the issue and came up with their perspective regarding the same. They cited reasons and supported them with suitable examples from real life, to justify their stand. The meticulous task of judgment was done by Mrs. Sahrmila Nakra and Mrs. Rajinder Kaur at G.M.T. The stage was conducted by the students. In Loharan, Judgment was done by Ms. Vasundhra and Mrs. Sahil. Tagore (Saksham and Nidhi) and Nehru House (Kashish Tank) representatives stood first in G.M.T and Loharan respectively. The certificates were awarded to the winners. The Director Principal of School - Mr. Dheeraj Banati mentioned that the objective behind these activities is to hone the speaking skills of the students, to boost up the confidence of the students and help to shed off their stage phobia. He wished good luck to the winners and emphasized on team work. The school organises such activities for the overall development of the students.
