Jalandhar 2 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage Institution, Jalandhar known for its contribution towards the promotion of nationalism, makes all possible efforts to acquaint the new generation with the glorious history of our national heroes Recently the Dept of Political Science organized a one-day trip to Jang-E-Azadi Kartarpur. Selected 50 students accompanied by there members of the faculty from the Dept. visited the museum built to pay tribute to the martyrs of the Indian movement for independence. The memorial specially highlights the contribution of the Punjabi community towards the Indian struggle for Independence. Getting acquainted with the past and the exemplary sacrifices of the heroes of Punjab was itself an educating and reforming experience for the young students. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the Dept. on having organized such a useful excursion. Ms. Ashima Sahni Dept. of Political science Ms. Richa. and Ms. Raman accompanied the students on the occasion.
