Jalandhar 18 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Jalandhar, October 18- The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, GNDU Regional Campus, here today started a signature campaign for Green Diwali . Most students and teachers of the Campus, signed the pledge not to burst crackers and celebrate a pollution free Diwali. Later, media students made Rangoli and lighted diyas in the Department and distributed sweets. On this occasion, Dr. Namarta Joshi, Head of the Department, greeted the staff and students and said that the festival should bring peace, harmony and prosperity to people of India. Dr. Kamlesh Singh Duggal. Dr. Charan Kamal Walia and Ms. Muskan were also present.
