The Mendeleev Society of Chemistry organised Spectrum-2017 at Lyallpur Khalsa College

Jalandhar 17 October (Jaswinder Azad)- The Mendeleev Society of Chemistry organised Spectrum-2017, an inter-college competition to celebrate the festival season by organizing seven competitions. The Principal, Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra congratulated the PG Department of chemistry and encouraged participants for bringing out their best talents. The events were witnessed by faculty members and students of the college. The Rangoli competition on the theme of depicting any festival was won by the team of B.D. Arya College. College making competition on the topic Child Abuse was won by Mansi of Lyallpur Khalsa College. The first position in flower arrangement competition was bagged by Shanti of KMV Jalandhar. The Pot decoration competition was won by Akshi of Kamla Nehru College for women. The best Pooja-Thaali was decorated by Aditi of Lyallpur Khalsa College of Education for Women. Card Making competition was won by Anshu Kumari of KMV Jalandhar. The first position in the Best out of waste competition went to Jatinder Kaur of KCL Institute of Management & Technology. In total eleven other colleges participated in the gala event. 165 participants exhibited their talent and brought their creative ideas into reality. The Head Prof. Arunjit Kaur and all the faculty members were present on the occasion of spectrum-2017.
