Jalandhar 28 February (Gurkirat Singh)- Students of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, the Autonomous and Heritage Institution, Jalandhar participated in the national level competition in Sanskrit shalokacharan and speech, organized by Haryana Sanskrit Academy. The student Ms. Sakshi Tripathi who reads in B.Com. 2nd Semester bagged the coveted third position amongst 32 contestants from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Delhi and Uttarakhand. It is noteworthy that she is a willing candidate for all competitions in Sanskrit language like debates, speeches, quizzes and shlokaucharen. The other contestant Ms. Pooja from M.A. (Music) Vocal 4th Sem also bagged the third prize in sholokaucharan and Ms. Nisha's participation was also exemplary. All the three participants expressed heart-fell-gratitude for the guide and mentor. Ms. Neeraj Sharma, Head, Dept. of Sanskrit. They also thanked Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi for being the consistent source of inspiration. The organizer of the programme Prof. Shri Krishan Sharma applauded the performance of the three students as excellent and described K.M.V. as a place of pilgrimage. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the winners and exhorted them to keep working hard for continuing the winning streak.
