Jalandhar 26 March (Gurkirat Singh)- The Department of Music, Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar organized an impressive Musical program keeping the songs of Legendary singers Kishore Kumar and Mukesh as the theme. Shri Kalyan Sen and Ms. Krutika Srivastava, Music Director and Writer from the Film Industry, Mumbai were the chief guests for the program to share minute details regarding the theme. College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra and Prof. Sukhdev Singh, HOD, Department of Music, provided a floral welcome to Shri Kalyan Sen and Ms. Krutika Srivastava and honored the dignitaries. Songs from the Golden Era of Hindi Film Industry were encored by the chief guests and discussions on the same were also held much to the benefit of the budding musicians of the college. Dr. Manohar Singh, Dean Administration, Prof. Prabh Dyal Dean Students Welfare and other staff members were also present on the occasion. Prof. Sukhdev Singh Head Department of Music gave the vote of thanks to the chief guest for gracing the occasion which was also witnessed by Prof. Pavittar Singh and S. Daljit Singh from the Department of music.
