'Fete-2018' was successfully conducted at Lyallpur Khalsa College

Jalandhar 20 March (Jaswinder Azad)- 'Fete-2018', an impressive mega event was successfully conducted by Lyallpur Khalsa College. This program held by the college after a time span of 40 years was attended by Parminder Singh Heer, ACP Punjab Police and Gobinder Singh Randhawa Canada as the Chief Guests for the two sessions respectively.  The dignitaries were welcomed to the college by Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra and Jaspal Singh Waraich, Joint Secretary Governing Council. Folk Singing performances were also delivered by various artists namely Dalvinder Dyalpuri, Diljaan, Teji Sandhu, Karamjit Karma, RB Singh Bablu and Honey Sidhu while Comedian Satti Baimbi also tickled the funny bone of the audiences. Chief Guest Parminder Singh Heer lauded the efforts of Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra for reintroducing the event after such a long time. In the second session, Mr. Gobinder Singh Randhawa took out 101 Lucky Draw prizes for the audiences on the spot whilst also stressing the need for such events to be run parallel to the academics. Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra also expressed his happiness over the immense success of the program which was marked by discipline and active participation in equal measure and also vowed to continue this event on yearly basis. Other Cultural Presentations, Tambola, Food Stalls and Fun Games were also enjoyed by one and all. Dr. Udeybir Singh Waraich delivered the vote of thanks for to conclude the proceedings. Stage was managed by Prof. Gopal Singh Buttar, Dr. Surinder Mand and Dr. Sukhdev Singh Nagra.
