Jalandhar 6 March (Jaswinder Azad)- A seminar on PHP/Wordpress was organized by Computer Club of PG Department of IT and Comp.Sc. of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya for the students of BCA/B.Sc. IT final year. The seminar was conducted by resource persons from Walkwel Technology. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, Head of the department Dr. Sangeeta Arora welcomed the resource persons Director, Vivek Bhardwaj, Yaju Arya, Business Development Manager Ankita Jain and Software Developer Lakshay Verma. The seminar was conducted for the beginners to understand the use of PHP/Wordpress. During the seminar, the students learnt the required skills and tools for web development using PHP/Wordpress. The resource persons imparted theoretical and practical knowledge to the students about PHP/Wordpress which is widely used open source server side script. Principal Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen motivated the students to learn about the new technologies and to enhance their technical skills. Mr. Gurmeet Singh, Incharge of Computer Club explained the importance of learning different technologies. Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Mrs. Sangeeta Arora, HOD Comp.Sc. The Joint Incharge of Computer Club, Mr. Gullagong and all the faculty members of PG Deptt. of Computer Science were present on this occasion.
