Jalandhar 6 March (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar the Heritage & Autonomous institutions’ P. G. Dept. of Fashion Designing organized a two-day workshop on creative line planning, fashion forecasting and fashion trends. The resource person for the same was Mr.Anuj Lalwani , a renowned Fashion Designer and Stylist. He interacted with students of M.Sc. Fashion Designing, B.Sc. Fashion Designing, B.Voc and students of other diploma and certificate courses. During the workshop illustrating from International Fashion Weeks he elaborated on how to plan, prepare and showcase a fashion line, during fashion weeks. He also aided the young participants of the workshop about how to prepare a fashion-line and be ahead of the present times by being shrewd fashion forecasters, who can tap the pulse of the market to evolve and predict new fashion trends. It was an exciting journey for the young girls who were aspiring to be Fashion Designers for completing their formal academic training. The faculty of P.G. Dept. of Fashion Designing & marketing also participated in the workshop and gave their active inputs. The young participants were full of queries during the workshop. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi thanked the resource person for giving invaluable practical training to the future fashion designers and observed that it would go a long way in grooming their career.
