Jalandhar 15 May (Jaswinder Azad)- Innocent Hearts, Cantt Jandiala Road Branch held a ‘Fancy Dress Competition’ on the occasion of “Mothers’ Day” in which the students of Nursery, K.G.I. and K.G.II participated. A group of 45 students took part in this competition in a variety of costumes. Children were dressed as fruits, salad, punjabi gabru, muttiar, Shravan Kumar, stop child labour, pilot, polybag, earth, milkman, toothpaste etc and were looking very pretty and genuine. There was a special enthusiasm and excitement amongst the children regarding this competition. The judgement was done by Ms. Nitika Kapoor and Ms. Sonali. In K.G.I Kritika Sharma was selected the best Punjabi Muttiar, Ishar Aggarwal had the best costume Adidev gave the best presentation and Rabya, Ekamjeet and Kartik Jain were awarded the best entries while in K.G.II Jasnoor Singh was the best Punjabi Gabru, Hargun Kaur got the best Punjabi Muttiar, Kushagra Gupta best presentation, Bhanu Sharma was declared the best performer, Fateh Singh wore the best costume and Nipun Kohli, Akshaj sood, Akshat Bansal and Himank Bhagra got the best entries. In nursery, Chahat had the best costume while Reet Kaur gave the best performance. Director Principal, Mr. Dheeraj Banati gave away the prizes and encouraged the children to continue to participate in these activities in the future.
