Summer Camp at KMV Concludes: Students avail a lot from Skill Enhancing programmes

Jalandhar 15 May (Jaswinder Azad)- At Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Autonomous heritage institution's, Jalandhar a free summer camp was organized from 1 May 2018 to 15 May, 2018. The students enthusiastic response showed that it was an extremely enriching experience for them. The classes in Spoken English, IT Skills, Beauty care which were held and these witnessed a huge response from the surrounding areas. It was a purely practical training which was activity based. Students were taught communication skills through role-play method, picture composition and situational teaching. The students could feel a palpable change in their communication methods & felt that they were more successful in communicating in English as compared to what they could before joining these classes. From IT skills classes, students were taught about the basics of computer and internet in an interesting way. Students were also given many important tips to enhance their beauty in the classes of beauty care.  It was overall an enriching experience which improved the life skills of many. It is noteworthy that another batch of summer classes is going to begin from June 1st, 2018 and will conclude on June 14th  2018. These classes will be in diverse fields like beauty care, dance, Art and Craft and I.T. skills. They will also be free of cost. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma congratulated the faculty and students for having used their summer break time productively.   She also lauded the efforts of Mrs. Seema Jain, Mrs. Parminder and the team of summer camp.
