HMV starts OPEN SCHOOL in its premises

Jalandhar 8 June (Gurkirat Singh)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya has added another feather in its cap by starting HMV Open School in its campus. The college has started Study Centre for Open School 10+2 Humanities Group. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen told that the equivalence of students of open school will be at par with the regular candidates. The students who have passed 10th in session 2016-17, those who were failed in 10+1 in session 2017-18 or any 10+2 fail candidate of CBSE/PSEB are eligible for the open school. Dr. Sareen said that Open school will be beneficial for those candidates who are facing financial constraints, deprived from regular study in school, residing in remote areas or those boys and girls who are doing jobs.  The certificate will be issued by Punjab School Education Board and will be equivalent to certificate issued to regular students. She said that the candidates who have passed +2 from open school are eligible for regular study in college and government jobs. Dr. Sareen further added that the students who will be joining HMV Open School will get the facility of dedicated and cooperative faculty, State of the art infrastructure, nominal fee structure, best academics, cultural and sports facilities and special concession for SC/ST students. HMV Collegiate School Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal said that in addition, one month contact programme is also being provided to the students, i.e. 12 days in November and 18 days in January.
