Jalandhar 6 June (Jaswinder Azad)- Innocent Hearts conducted Inter House Sports Competitions in the months of April and May to ensure the physical development of the children along with the academic progress. These activities were conducted in GMT, Loharan, CJR and also Royal World School. The house wise results were declared with great fanfare by the H.O.D. Sports Mr. Sanjeev Bhardwaj. G.M.T. results were as follows – In Badminton Singles the U-14 crown for girls went to Tagore House and boys to Nehru House for their Exemplary performance. In doubles U-14 girls Teresa House was first and in boys Sarojini House took the honours. In Badminton singles U-17 girls Tagore house won in the girls as well as the Boys group. Doubles U-17 girls Tagore and boys Sarojini House were first. In Chess U-14 boys Teresa beat all while amongst U-17 boys also Teresa took the top position. In Yoga Juniors as well as seniors Nehru house excelled. Basket Ball matches were held class wise for the senior secondary section with XII C1 winning in girls and XII N1 in Boys. In Loharan Badminton Girls Nehru was first and in boys Tagore House topped. In Basket Ball Boys, Teresa House won. In Yoga boys and girls and girls Teresa House reached the pinnacle. In Chess U-14 Sarojini among boys and Teresa among girls won the trophy and for U-17 Chess boys went to Sarojini House. In Royal World School, Nehru House came first in U-14 Boys And Nehru House in U-17 Girls. In yoga Sarojini House beat all amongst Girls and Teresa House won amongst the Boys. Director Principal Mr. Dheeraj Banati congratulated the winners and stressed that these activities are very necessary for the all-round development and success of the individual.
