Jalandhar 6 June (Jaswinder Azad)- The students of HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School made bird feeders during World Environment Week. These bird feeders are made with waste plastic and they are very attractive and water and food can be easily provided to birds in them. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen encouraged the students and said that this step is taken in order to protect birds and maintain the beauty of the environment. She said that birds can not tell us their requirement by speaking but it is our duty and responsibility to feel their need and fulfill it. School Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal said that doing such innovative projects is a regular feature of the school so that students remain conscious towards their environment. This also shows their responsibility towards nation as a good citizen of the country.
