Students of PCM S.D. Collegiate Sr. Sec School get an exposure to Spirituality and Science

Jalandhar 18 June (Jaswinder Azad)- PCM S.D. Collegiate Sr. Sec School organized a One Day Trip to Gurudwara Ber Sahib in Sultanpur Lodhi and Pushpa Gujral Science City in Kapurthala District with the aim of providing an exposure to spirituality and Science. Students of 10+1 and 10+2 visited Historical Gurudwara Ber Sahib in Sultanpur Lodhi. After visiting Gurudwara Ber Sahib and listening to Shabad Gayan, students visited (the Ghat) the spot on the bank of Kaali Bein where Guru Nanak Dev ji Appeared after enlightenment on a Full Moon (Puranmasi) night. The serenity and peace of the place was ennobling and uplifting. Thereafter students took langar in the Langar Hall. Then the students headed towards Pushpa Gujral Science City in Kapurthala where they experienced the power of science when they watched laser beam show, Three dimension show, an adventurous show in the Dome theatre and simulator. They also watched a show on climate change which highlighted the issues of Black hole, Global Warming, harmful effects of Ozone depletion and pollution. Students visited the Chamber demonstrating Human evolution from Pre Historic Man to Modern Man, Botanical Gardens and Jurrasic Park. Principal Dr. Kiran Arora congratulated Incharge Mrs. Kusum Midha, Dr. Mrs. Neena Mittal, Ms. Latika Randev, Ms. Sakshi, Ms. Kusum Sharma and other faculty members for organizing such a fruitful, knowledgeable and successful trip.
