Industry to upload their requirements, enabling youth to grab it
Jalandhar 5 July (Jaswinder Azad)- Industry Department, Jalandhar has launched the "ghargharrozgarpunjab.gov.in" portal with an aim to provide the common platform to job seekers and industries for recruitment of skilled force.
Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma has said that it was the first time that the industry department has provided a common platform to the youth and various companies which is a suitable situation for all concerned parties as if one hand the students got placement in companies, than the other hand the industrial units also got skilled work force.
He also said that the industrial unit would be able to upload their demands for skilled work force as per the nature of their unit whereas the youth have been facilitated to approach the concerned unit directly. He said that the industry department has been asked to organise special camps at technical institutes, engineering and pharmacy collages to aware the students about the fruitful use of this portal. Besides that the department would also approach the registered industrial units to upload the vacant vacancies in their units.
Besides that the department has also announced the training schedule for trainees of CAL-C centres from July 11 to 20, for which the industrial units has been asked to upload their units and requirement on the portal.
