Jalandhar 4 July (Jaswinder Azad)- A sports camp has been inaugurated at Innocent Hearts School, Loharan. The honourable guests DSP Hina Gupta, SHO Sh. Bimal Kant, ASI Partap Pura – Sh. Madan Singh unfurled the sports flag and released the balloons to declare the camp open. The probable players took an Oath to take part in the games in the true spirit of sportsmanship and team spirit for the honour of the school and the glory of sports. A total of 215 students are taking part in the camp which aims at giving the students an experience of a competitive environment in familiar surroundings. The coaches ensure development of latent talent while practising along with competition among students in the field. Students enjoyed a dip in the pool during the lazy hours of the afternoon. The fun continued when the children rocked the dance floor in the evening. Keeping the hot weather in mind all the requisite amenities are being provided to the participants. They are staying in fully air conditioned rooms. Dr. Chander Bowry, the Medical Secretary of the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust made regular visits to check the students. The children took part in Cricket and Basketball matches on the opening day. Sh. Bimal Kant encouraged the children to learn the techniques taught during the camp with focus and apply them in their future games. In the end the chief guest was honoured with a souvenir as a mark of respect. On this occasion Academic Secretary of the Trust Dr. Anup Bowry, Director Principal - Mr. Dheeraj Banati, Vice Principal – Ms. Sharmila Nakra and Incharge Ms. Shallu Sehgal were present.
