Students of CT World School plants 200 saplings

CT World School students initiate plantation drive
Jalandhar 30 July (Jaswinder Azad)- Planting trees connects children with nature and shows them that their hard work makes a difference in the world. A tree plantation drive was initiated by the students of CT World School to create awareness and spread the message of saving planet. The purpose of this drive was to sensitize the kids towards the protection of environment. 
Students went to village Loharan and planted 200 different types of saplings in various areas there including Gurudwara, park and on the sides of the roads as well.  Series of plantation was done and students were told to take care of them in future as well. The importance of trees in contributing to the environment by providing oxygen improving air quality, preserving soil, supporting wild life and providing shelter, medicine and tools was explained to students on the occasion.
Mrs. Madhu Sharma, Principal CT World School remarked that school children can take an active role in helping to green their localities by teaming with their friends and parents to plant trees on different properties. These projects pay multiple benefits by improving environmental conditions and providing multi-disciplinary learning for students of all ages.
Managing Director Mr. Manbir Singh appreciated the efforts taken by the students and said that such projects teach students about plants and show them how their efforts make an impact that they and their communities can revisit for years.
