Jalandhar 1 August (Jaswinder Azad)- Throughout the world, in all civilizations, there are celebrations reflecting nature’s rhythms, important transitions and significant moments in the life of the culture. We celebrate these to sustain and renew ourselves.
DIPS URBAN ESTATE -1 celebrated the GOLDEN MEET on 1st August, 2018 for Pre-Primary Wing on the theme of festivals ‘’Holi, Diwali and Christmas’’. The Chief Guests on the occasion was CEO Ms Monica Mandotra Principal Ms Neelu Bawa. The occasion was also graced by the benign presence of the parents of DIPSIANS.
The programme started with Nur Kids with Public speaking on Holi, which is a great art and this was proved by the little fledglings in a heartthrob manner. The audience was touched and impressed the way the little angels expressed their feelings. The tender souls performed so well and fearlessly which was beyond ones imaginations. After that the Kg kids performed public speaking, arti and danceen thralled the audience as they tapped their little feet on the medley depicting festival Diwali. After that Prep kids enacted a small play on glimpse of Jesus nativity. The meet came to an end with the vibrant and lively participation of parents in different games organized.
Thereafter the Principal Ms.Neelu Bawa proposed the vote of thanks to the parents and exhorted with a strong message that every festival is important and we should respect it. She also stressed on the importance of teachers and parents working hand in hand for the development of the child’s personality. She concluded that when she sees the bright faces of the students, she is assured that the future of India is safe.
