IPS Naunihal Singh & top notch entrepreneurs launch CT Start-Up Club at CT Group of Institutions

Jalandhar 21 August (Jaswinder Azad)- Initiating a remarkable step of invigorating young pioneering and ingenious brains towards bright future, IPS Naunihal Singh, Inspector General of Police, Jalandhar, Chief Guest, launched CT Start-Up Club at CT Group of Institutions along with other top notch entrepreneurs namely Mr. Vineet Khurana , Vice-President / Founder of Chandigarh Angels Network, Mr. Simarpreet Singh, Director, Hartek, Founder of Hartek Solar and Hartek India, and Ms. Divya Ahuja Mahajan, Executive Director, Kosmo Hyundai shared their inspirational success stories with the budding entrepreneurs.
The welcome address was delivered by Mr. Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman, CT Group of Institutions at Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium in Shahpur campus. In his address he stated, “CT Group has initiated a phenomenal step of galvanizing young ingenious brains towards future, brimmed with unconventional and unexplored opportunities, which will pave way for trail blazers to express their hidden virtues in the world of business and technology. To bolster this novel idea we decided to come up with the Start-UP Club in which the students will get all the required guidance and financial support from the Angel Investors.”
Sh. Naunihal Singh, IPS, Inspector General of Police, Jalandhar who was the Chief Guest for the occasion said that this is a platform for students to recognize and utilize their skills in identifying opportunities and creating innovative business models. This initiative is about students, their choices and actions in starting, taking over or running a business.
Mr. Simarpreet Singh, Director, Hartek said that this club will create greater awareness of opportunities and benefits of entrepreneurship in order to encourage more students to start a venture and we need young entrepreneurs with fresh ideas to promote ‘Make in India’ concept.
Telling about the process, Mr. Abhishek Soni, Deputy Director of Center for Career, Planning and Counselling (CCPC) informed that a student with innovative idea has to fill the club membership form, which is free of cost, two committees will scrutinize the idea and CT Group and its associated investors will help the student with best idea and project from giving useful tips to providing resources and raising funds.
S. Charanjit S Channi, Chairman and Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director congratulated and appreciated the efforts in introducing this start-up club which is need of the hour. They further added that this club will channelize the knowledge and the energy of students towards becoming active partners in the economic development process.
