Already performed for an extensive variety of audience in swanky clubs, colleges and corporate to comedy fests, Jeeveshu today successfully managed to tickle the funny bones of the audience gathered in an event “Laughter Evenings” organised by HDFC Bank and Radio Mirchi.
The comedy event began with the funny side of RJ Pak Pak Deepak. He created such an ambience that audience remained glued to their seats and waited for Jeeveshu to come on stage. Following him was an overweight Jeeveshu, who began by making jokes about fat people and Punjabis.
Sharing about his experience of performing here and telling about the acceptance of stand-up comedy in cities like Jalandhar, Jeeveshu said, “Stand-up comedy is still in its nascent stage, but is still doing exceptionally well. Yet, I think we have a long way to go in terms of expanding the horizons of humour. We still need to loosen up a bit to make as well as take jokes. Stand-up comedy has the potential to create an impact in the society as we can see now. Coming to Jalandhar has been a great experience and the audience’s response was applaudable.”
S. Charanjit S Channi, Chairman CT Group, Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director and Mr. Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman thanked Jeeveshu for visiting and performing exceptionally well today.
