Jalandhar 17 July (Jaswinder Azad)- PCCTU, Jalandhar Elections gave Strong jerks to jagwant and Sareen Group, as both the candidates lost badly, Dr Tajinder Virli became the President and Dr Sanjeev Dhawan became the new Secretary.
The elections happened peacefully in Doaba College where 57/59 took part to vote for 4 People. Consecutively for the second time Dav college nakodars Dr Tajinder Virli emerged like a warrior and won By 33-23 difference of votes . On the 2nd hand in the pre ministerial Phase, lot of ups and downs were seen, where Dav college jalandhar's Dr Sanjeev Dhawan gave a strong competition to MGN College's Prof Meharban Singh by 35-20. Dr Sukhdev from Punjabi department of Doaba College jalandhar organised these elections , and the entire staff was dedicated towards peacefully discharging of those elections.
After winning the new president Dr Virli and new secretary Dr Sanjeev Dhawan thanked with a sense of Gratitude to all the present delegates and quoted "it's the victory of the truth , confidence and divine positivity , and we will strive to discharge our duties well . Further they stated regarding the unfulfilled desires of the district's teachers , but the Authorities arn't giving any attention , but we will collaborate the teachers demands and go to the higher legal authority so as everyone can reap the added benefits of 7th pay commission and we will put in all our efforts to carry forward the PCTU union to the further Zenith's of success.
