Culprits in Gagneja`s killing would not be spared - Rajnath Singh

Jalandhar 27 September (Jaswinder Azad)- Union Home Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh today said that the culprits involved in the killing of RSS state Co-Incharge Brig. Jagdish Gagneja would not be spared. Union Minister has also said that the CBI investigation in the case is going on and the culprits would be brought to book at any cost.
Today while paying tribute to the Brig. Jagdish Gagneja along with the Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal, Union Home Minister said that on the recommendation of Punjab Government, Union Government has directed the CBI to speed up the investigation to nail down the culprits who aimed to disturb the peace and communal harmony in the state. Mr. Rajnath Singh has also expressed satisfaction on the inputs provided by the Punjab Government in the case. He also assured the bereaved family for all kind of support in the hour of crisis. 
Paying tribute to the departed soul, Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal has called upon the people to give strong reply to anti National and anti Punjab forces who are trying to disturb the hard earned peace and harmony. He said that from the centuries, Unity and Brotherhood were the main pillars of strength in Punjab to defeat the anti social elements.  Terming Brig. Jagdish Gagneja as a true patriot Mr. Badal said that “he was votary of communal harmony who served the nation in various capacities”.
Terming SAD-BJP alliance as the ambassador of brotherhood in the state, Mr. Badal said that Punjab has always defeated the forces who want to divide the communities on religion lines from time to time. Later on Union Home Minister and Deputy Chief Minister held separate meeting with the Bereaved family members including Mrs Sudesh Gagneja, Son Rahul Gagneja and daughters.  
Prominent amongst present on the occasion included Union Minister Vijay Sampla, Cabinet Minister Ajit Singh Kohar, Madan Mohan Mittal, Bhagat Chunni Lal, MLA K.D.Bhandari, Manoranjan Kalia, former BJP President Kamal Sharma, Senior BJP leader Avinash Rai Khanna, Divisional Commissioner H.S. Nanda, DC K.K. Yadav and Police Commissioner Arpit Shukla.
