Jalandhar 12 January (Jaswinder Azad)- The students and staff of Guru Nanak Dev University regional campus ladhewali organized a social event named "swachh pragatisheel GNDU podho sang nirman" with the assistance of NSS unit. Prof Jyoteesh Malhotra the associate dean and head of department along with Dr. Varinder Singh and Dr Rupam Jagota the programme officers and assistant professors inaugurated this event. Students, faculty and non teaching staff all pledged to make their surroundings hygienic. Students of campus initiated the programme by explaining the motive behind this synergic step. Among the three cardinal steps today they celebrated their first step i.e. safai abhiyan and cleaned the backyard of campus. In following months they will do plantation and minor development of university completing the rest of their actions.In this event Muskan, Mehak, Saloni, Harpreet, Ishani, Shubham, Jackson, Palav, Kishan sir and so many other students and staff was also present.
