Hard work is the only key to success- Mrs. India Jasmine Toor Bhatara
Jalandhar 6 February (Jaswinder Azad)- Everybody knows that hard work is extremely essential in gaining what you desire, but still somewhere you fail to perform. There could be numerous reasons for this state of affairs but Ms. Jasmine Toor Bhatara has overcome such reasons and put her best forward to achieve her goals. This inspirational lady was here at CT Public School to interact with the students during a motivational talk series ‘She Walks She Talks’ initiated by Mrs. Jasmine Toor Bhatara.
A Dentist by profession, Ms. Bhatara shared her personal experiences originally hailing from Sowaddi Kalan village in Ludhiana, Dr Jasmine shared that she found her soulmate while studying at a dental college in Maharashtra. She got married to Mr. Amit Bhatara in 2000 after which she participated in beauty pageants without any formal training. She first sailed through ‘Mrs. India Queen of Substance’ contest held in Delhi bagging the ‘Trendsetter Award’ too. She then went on to grab the second runner-up title at ‘Mrs. Universal 2016’ contest held at Nevada, USA.
Jasmine represented India in ‘India Day Parade’ in US. She has also worked in educating the lower strata about basic hygiene techniques, importance of institutional delivery, uplift of the girl child and against female foeticide, making people from slums aware about their rights to ask for basic vaccinations and free medical treatment at civil hospitals. She said, “The journey has been wonderful with lots of ups and downs, I urge all the youngsters to never step back to fulfill your dreams, always follow your heart and achieve laurels in life.”
Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi (Co-Chairperson, CT Group of Institutions) appreciated the presence of Mrs. Bhatara for sharing her inspirational journey and salubrious thoughts with the students.
