Jalandhar 22 August (Gurkirat Singh)- Keeping the future prospects of students in mind, Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara is successfully offering IELTS classes for the students of the college as well as peripheral areas. Ms. Ekaterina, who hails from Russia, is conducting these classes. With a rich experience of teaching English in foreign countries as well as various parts of India, Ekaterina is training the students in the four modules of IELTS-Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing. Since she has been teaching in India for the last few years, she is well versed with the language and can easily understand the way in which students of this region need to be taught. She further added that besides offering good career options abroad, this course is helpful for the students who wish to improve their communication skills, personality development and confidence level. Principal of the College Dr. Kiran Walia said that the purpose behind starting these classes was to offer this facility to the city residents in safe and secure environment of the college. She further said that not only college students but other residents of the city, both male and female, can avail this facility.
