Jalandhar 28 September (Jaswinder Azad)- The student council of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. On this occasion, the office bearers of Student Council presented 'Ekangi' on the biography of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Mrs. Urvashi Mishra, Dean Student Council along with other members of Student Council presented the Tricolor Dupatta and badge of Bhagat Singh to the head of the institute Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The badges were also distributed among the teachers. The patriotic song "Mera Rang De Basanti Chola" was sung by the students of music deptt. On this occasion, Poster Making and Slogan Writing competition was also organized by Mediwal Chronicle Society of the college. Madam Principal appreciated the efforts of Student Council for presenting 'Ekangi' on such a pious day. All the students and staff members paid homage to Shaheed Bhagat Singh. On this occasion, Ms. Sharanjeet Kaur from History deptt. was also present.
