Jalandhar 4 October (Gurkirat Singh)- The PG Department of Punjabi Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organized a Fresher's party for the fresher students of MA Punjabi. The chief guest of the event was the college Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra who welcomed the new coming students of the outgoing class and urged them to work united with all their potential for the development of country. The Head of the Department Prof. Sukhbir Singh welcomed the Principal, other guests and students. Modeling, Dance, Bhangra, Skits were presented by the students on this occasion. Ranjot Kuar was declared Miss. Fresher, where as Navdeep Singh was chosen Mr. Fresher. The Head of Department Prof. Gopal Singh Buttar thanks the Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra for attending the Welcome Party and congratulate all the students of MA (Pbi.). Dr. Kuldip Kaur Dosanjh, Dr. Surinder Pal Mand and Dr. Harjinder Singh adjudged the competition. The occasion was witnessed by the students and the staff of the department.
