The two day national conference started today at DAV College, Jalandhar

Jalandhar 23 February (Gurkirat Singh)- The two-day national conference 'Recent Trends and Innovations in Pure and Applied Mathematics' started in DAV College, Jalandhar today onwards. The convenor of this two-day National Seminar is the Mathematics Department of the College. The main purpose of this seminar is to provide a platform for discussing new trends in pure and practical mathematics. In this two-day National Seminar, Sanjeev Kaushal (IAS, Additional Chief Secretariat, Haryana Government) was the Chief Guest and Dr. Lalit Kumar Awasthi (Director, NIT, Jalandhar) was Guest of Honor. Chief guest Sanjeev Kaushal, Main Speaker Dr. Lalit Kumar Awasthi was welcomed by Principal Dr. S.K. Arora, Vice Principal Prof. VK Sareen, Vice Principal Prof. T. D. Saini, Registrar Prof. Arun Mehra, Member of LMC Prof Kamaldeep and Dr. Manu Sood, Convenor of the Conference Ajay Kumar Agarwal, Conference Organizing Secretary Dr. S. K. Tuli, Prof. Hemant, Prof. Jagdish and PRO Manish Khanna. On this occasion, Principal Dr. S. K. Arora welcomed all the guests and introduced all the dignitaries to the audience. Along with this he also presented a memento to all the guests. Principal Dr. Arora said that the main purpose of today's seminar is to bring researchers and professionals on the same platform, discuss recent activities in both theoretical and applied mathematics and establish an exchange center of business knowledge among the mathematicians. Dr. SK Tuli, organizing secretary of the conference told that 15 resource persons from different universities will keep their views on pure and practical mathematics. Famous mathematician Dr. IBS Pasi ( Prof Emirates, IISER, Mohali), Prof. R. P Sharma (HP University, Shimla), Prof. Rajneesh Kumar (Kurukshetra University), Prof. B. S. Somal (Jammu), Dr Nayyas (NIT,Srinagar) , Dr. M. Abbasi (Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi), Pro NK Sheikh (NIT Srinagar, Kashmir) read their research papers papers. Apart from this, 125 researchers who come from different colleges also read their paper. Chief guest Sanjeev Kaushal said that mathematics has a very important place in our lives. If we do any daily work, then we have to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide. We start the day only by mathematics. Our clock also tells the time when it takes the form of an angle, it is necessary to have understanding of mathematical teaching as well, because in general people have a belief that mathematics is a difficult and cumbersome subject. It has abstraction and is the subject of symbols, formulas and definitions, which inhibit children's learning. But this perception is not true. In fact mathematics is an interesting and perceptual subject. There is a problem in teaching and learning only, when it is attempted to teach by chalk, duster. Do not cram, but enjoy it. The program's chief speaker Dr. Inderbir Singh Pasi discussed on Automorphism. He said that in some sense, automorphism is a symmetry of the object, and one way of mapping the object while preserving all its structure is the group of all automobiles of an object Creates a group, which is called Automorphism Group. This is a group of homogeneity of an object. He talked extensively about automobilms. Apart from this, Prof. RP Sharma discussed about "Disjoint Union Metric and Topological Space", Prof BS komal shared views about "Composits Operators and their Application to the Inventory Subspacies Problem", Prof. NA Sheikh presented idea on "Vavlets: Past, Present and Future, Prof. M. Y. Abbasi discussed in detail " Generalised Ideas in Ternary structures". On the first day of the conference there were three different technical sessions in which teachers from different universities and colleges read their own papers. In the first technical session, Dr. IBS Prasad (Professor Emirates, ISER, Mohali), Prof. R. P Sharma (HP University, Shimla), Prof. BS Kumar (Jammu), Dr. Nayyas Ahmed (NIT, Srinagar), Dr. M. Ambasi (Jamia Millia Islameia, New Delhi) read their research papers. The other technical session was presided over by Prof. R. P. Sharma, Prof. B. S. Komal and Dr. Shakeel Ahmad Raina. The third technical session was introduced by Dr. Anita Tomar, Dr. Neaz Ahmed, Dr. M. Abbasi. The inauguration session was conducted by Prof. Sharad Manocha. Justice NK Sood, Chairman of Local Committee presented his special views in the conference. On this occasion, Dr. Poonam Sharma, Prof. Anju Chhabra, Prof. Rajesh Parashar, Prof. Manish Arora, Dr. Samir Sharma, Dr. Seema Sharma, Prof. Sahil Nagpal, Prof. Arun Kochhar, Jasmine, Simpi Chopra, Kriti Mehta, Kaval, Bharati, Kajal Sahni and Komalpreet was also present.
