Innokids of Innocent Hearts Observed ‘World Water Day’

Jalandhar 22 March (Jaswinder Azad)- Innokids of Innocent Hearts (GMT, Loharan and CJR) observed ‘World Water Day’ in which the students of the Pre Primary Wing participated. The importance of fresh was shown to the kids through flash cards and charts. The teachers explained that water is very important for life as life without water cannot even be imagined. This is the reason why ‘World Water Day’ is celebrated every year on March 22. This reminds us of the utility of water and the need to conserve and save fresh water. They were told that if water did not exist, life on earth would not have been possible, there would be no trees, no crops and we would not have been able to live under the open sky so every drop of water should be saved wherever possible. Stories about places where people have to walk many miles to collect water for drinking were told to the tiny tots. They were made to realize that they should not only save water but also tell their parents, friends and neighbours to do the same. In this way they would be a part of the movement to save water for the future and stave off the looming water crisis. On this occasion Innokids Incharge Ms. Gurmeet Kaur(GMT), Ms Alka (Loharan) and Ms. Nitika Kapoor(CJR) explained that ‘Water is Life’, it is the elixir of life and should not be wasted.
