Jalandhar 22 March (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage and Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar's, Department of Student Welfare and Department of Social Science collaboratively celebrated World Water Day. The Departments organized Extempore and Chart Making Competition on the theme 'Nature for Water' in which students actively participated. They also accentuated many other issues like Water Conservation, Rain water Harvesting, Water Pollution through their art of chart making. The appreciation awards has been given to Kashima (B.Sc. Medical) 4th Semester, Deepanshu (BAJMC) 2nd Semester, Paramveer and Muskan (B.Com) 2nd Semester and Arshdeep (B.A.) 2nd Semester. Admiring all the students, Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred the need to conserve water. She gave a vibrant lecture on essentialities to maintain the continuous decreasing water level. She also congratulated the organizers of the competition including Dr. Madhumeet, Dean Student Welfare and Ms. Sadhna Tondon, Head Life Science Department for organizing such a significant competition through which students' art would come out and they would comprehend knowledge as well.
