Jalandhar 22 March (Jaswinder Azad)- ‘When power is misused, it translates into violence; but when it is used for achieving one’s Righteous goals, it amounts of justice. This revolutionary ideology was stated by the great Bhagat Singh. Any sacrifice will be inadequate to accomplish the greatest aim of freeing the Motherland, was the inspiring outlook of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru and number of freedom fighters. RIET paid rich tributes to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev who laid down their lives for the independence of the nation. RIET organized an exhibition in the collaboration with the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Memorial Hall of Jalandhar to pay homage to the great freedom fighters.
Dr. Vyoma Bhogal Dhatt, Director REI, while remembering the Brave martyrs of the Motherland stated that the nation will never forget their sacrifices which would continue to provide inspirations to the Indian masses, in particular, youths to safeguard the national pride, its unity, integrity, constitution and flag. She said that nation is first and nobody is above to it and its pride and Law.
Principal Dr. Naveen Dhillon reminded the students that the Brave fighters are not only an inspiration but the ideologies for the Young India which paves the path of selective violence that can be seen as key contribution in India’s fight for independence. This exhibition brought up the feeling of nationalism among the young students by connecting them to the lives of freedom fighters through the collection showcased in the exhibition.
