Jalandhar 25 July (Gurkirat Singh)- The Post Graduate Department of Punjabi, Lyallpur Khalsa College organized a special rendezvous literary program featuring eminent author Bhola Singh Sanghera and versatile writer Sh. Tarsem. College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra and Prof. Gopal Singh Buttar Head, Department of Punjabi duly welcomed the guests to the institution and lauded their collective efforts regarding Punjabi language and culture. While interacting with the students and staff of the college, Bhola Singh Sanghera discussed various facets of his literary creations whilst Mr. Tarsem also shared glimpses of his versatility and informed the audience about his translated works across all genres. As a part of the proceedings of the program, Dr. Sukhdev Singh Nagra, Dr. Harjinder Singh Sekhon and Dr. Kuldip Sodhi engaged in a meaningful and expressive interaction with the dignitaries. Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra thanked the guests for their visit to the college and vowed to continue such efforts on behalf of the college much to the flourishing of Punjabi Literature and Culture. Faculty members of the Department of Punjabi and Physics were also present on the occasion while the stage was jointly managed by Dr. Surinder Mand and Prof. Satnam Wahid.
