Jalandhar 19 August (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-the Autonomous and Heritage Institution, Jalandhar’s Department of Journalism and Mass Communication celebrated World Photography Day. A Photography Competition was organized on this occasion in which the students of M.A.JMC, B.A.JMC, B.Voc. (Photography and Journalism), B.A.(JMC as subject) participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. They showcased their artistic and creative skills by capturing various moments on the topic of Nature, Portrait and crowd. Students also presented the importance of balance between camera lens, aperture, shutter speed and light in a creative manner. Harkomal, Garima and Driti stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd in this competition. The Principal of the College Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the winners and applauded all the participants for their participation. She also lauded the faculty of Department of JMC for their sincere efforts.
