Jalandhar 29 September (Jaswinder Azad)- Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar organized a Blood Donation and Blood Group testing Camp in coordination with the Youth Club and the Red Ribbon Club. Over 60 students and staff members of the college donated their blood on the occasion. S. Rajinder Singh DCP Jalandhar and S. Inderjit Singh Dhami Director Youth Services Jalandhar also witnessed the program and honored the volunteers for blood donation. Speaking on the occasion, College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra emphasized the need of blood donation and highlighted its relevance in the medical set up of our country. He also declared the college’s commitment towards such efforts for the welfare of the society. Organizer of the camp and the incharge of the Center of Youth Affairs, Dr. Tarsem Singh informed that Prof. Dinkar Sharma, Prof. Komalpreet Kaur, Prof. Sonu Gupta, S. Kulwinder Singh and S. Mandeep Singh were among the staff members to volunteer for blood donation. The occasion was also witnessed by Dr. Charanjit Singh, Dr. Harjit Singh, Prof. Hari Om Verma, Dr. Simranjit Singh Bains, Dr. Balwinder Singh Chahal, Prof. Ratnakar Maan, Prof. Upma Arora, Prof. Gagandeep Kaur and Prof. Arpita Tripathi.
